Position Overview:
As a Sales Manager within our sales team, you'll be responsible for leading and motivating a team of sales professionals to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate is a true go-getter, a natural closer, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced, competitive environment. Your ability to manage and inspire a team, coupled with your aptitude for identifying and cultivating top talent, will be critical to your success in this role. Along this, you will also be expected to manage your own client base.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team targets. Provide ongoing coaching and development to maximise performance and foster a culture of success.
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and market penetration. Collaborate with senior management to set clear objectives and KPIs, and regularly report on progress and results.
Pipeline Management: Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow-up on leads and opportunities. Implement effective sales processes and workflows to drive efficiency and optimise conversion rates.
Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and prospects, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements. Act as a trusted advisor, demonstrating deep knowledge of our products and services.
Talent Acquisition: Identify, recruit, and onboard top sales talent to expand the team and fuel business growth. Conduct interviews, assess candidates, and make hiring decisions aligned with organisational goals and culture.
Performance Management: Set clear performance expectations and goals for team members, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback. Recognise and reward top performers, while addressing underperformance through coaching and development plans.
Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, the competitive landscape, and customer needs, leveraging insights to inform sales strategies and product development initiatives. Act as a subject matter expert, representing the company at industry events and conferences where applicable.
Qualifications:
- A proven track record of success in sales management, preferably within the payments epos or technology sector.

Benefits:
6 month Probationary Starting basic salary of £35k
38k thereafter + bonus incentive
