CNC Operator

We are looking for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator for our client.  The goal is to produce high quality parts and keep spindle time to a maximum.

Main responsibilities include:

• Performing tasks such as milling, drilling, tapping, grinding etc on high Speed CNC machines
• Operating & supervising other machine shop machinery.
• Ensuring all tooling, fixtures & CNC programs are available prior to commencing production
• Keeping accurate records of component quantities and scrap produced on the production documentation
• Ensuring you maintain high standards in production output and component quality
• Understanding specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
• Basic Editing of Programs & tool tables
• To control, check & replace tooling & cutters
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
• Ensuring lubricant levels are checked/refilled
• Have a knowledge and understanding of CNC 3 axis, 4 axis machining and Renishaw probing is required;
• Ensure company safety systems and work protocol are followed

Number of days per week:

Monday to Thursday 7am - 5.30pm

Over Time available at enhanced Rates.

Once initial training has been completed  (approx. 3 months) you will then work a 4on 4off shift pattern. Competitive package to include shift allowance (£25 per shift), enhanced annual leave and sickness benefit, pension scheme, life insurance, free onsite car parking and cycle to work scheme.

Basic Pay

£16.98 plus great overtime rates - as x1.5 times

£17.56 after successful completion of 6 month training 

£40456 includes Shift bonus when on 4 on 4 off days 

After training £41724 include shift bonus
