Fusion Resources are looking for a Plant Hygiene Operator for our client in the Malton area.
Duties
- Adheres to SHE standards, including PPE / RPE requirements at all times
- Complies with procedures, policies, and SHE regulations at all times
- Maintains effective communication to ensure that necessary policies and procedures are understood and followed

- Attends monthly 1-2-1's with line manager, provides and listens to feedback,
- Undertakes training and development so that you are able to achieve company and personal goals
- Supports new starters / transferee's by providing training in plant/equipment operation, Work Instructions etc.
Organisational & Planning
- Ensuring plant and equipment is cleaned to the specified standards, safely and within the allocated time-frames
- Accurate and timely completion of hygiene documentation and reporting any non-conformances to line manager
- Support Plant operators / Engineers when required (and trained to do so) in dismantling of machinery and equipment for thorough inspection / cleaning
- Support Plant operators / Engineers when required (and trained to do so) in the reassembly of machinery and equipment in time for production start-up checks
- Correct use and storage of cleaning equipment and materials
- Compliance with site waste management procedures
- Ensure that there is a comprehensive handover to other operators at shift handover times.
- Work closely with other departments e.g. Production and Engineering to ensure that the defined standards of plant hygiene are maintained.
You will:
- Have previous experience of industrial cleaning and use of cleaning chemicals
Hours and pay:
- Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm
- £12 per hour
