Plant Hygiene Operative

Fusion Resources are looking for a Plant Hygiene Operator for our client in the Malton area.

Duties

• Adheres to SHE standards, including PPE / RPE requirements at all times
• Complies with procedures, policies, and SHE regulations at all times
• Maintains effective communication to ensure that necessary policies and procedures are understood and followed

• Supports new starters / transferee's by providing training in plant/equipment operation, Work Instructions etc.

Organisational & Planning

• Ensuring plant and equipment is cleaned to the specified standards, safely and within the allocated time-frames
• Accurate and timely completion of hygiene documentation and reporting any non-conformances to line manager
• Support Plant operators / Engineers when required (and trained to do so) in dismantling of machinery and equipment for thorough inspection / cleaning
• Support Plant operators / Engineers when required (and trained to do so) in the reassembly of machinery and equipment in time for production start-up checks
• Correct use and storage of cleaning equipment and materials
• Compliance with site waste management procedures
• Ensure that there is a comprehensive handover to other operators at shift handover times.
• Work closely with other departments e.g. Production and Engineering to ensure that the defined standards of plant hygiene are maintained.

 You will:

• Have previous experience of industrial cleaning and use of cleaning chemicals

Hours and pay: 

• Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm 
• £12 per hour
