We are looking for mechanical fitters for our client based in Bridlington. This is an excellent opportunity to further your career with our client who are embarking on growing their current team. Applicants will ideally have relevant qualifications (ie HNC /HND, Apprentice trained in relevant discipline. However, if you have had 'on the job training' in a similar environment we are also keen to talk to you! (You will work alongside someone, whilst you are trained up!).

A basic 39-hour standard week, working Monday to Friday with a 1pm finish on Fridays.

£13 per hour

Overtime available paid at time & a half.

As a mechanical Fitter your responsibilities will include;

• Working from engineering drawings.
• Assembly and disassembly of machines and components
• Working to tight tolerances
• Working with pneumatic & hydraulics
• Competent use of manual machines and power tools.

The successful person will;

• Previous experience in a similar role with a manufacturing business.
• Must be mechanically minded with an eye for detail, as working from engineering drawings & a strong mechanical background.

• Be comfortable working to tight deadlines and timeframes

• Have experience working in a precise and accurate manor, with a keen eye for detail.
• Experienced with manual machines and power tools.
• Have own tools - however not essential.
